Comparing Plants

There is a conservatory in Shanghai Botanical Garden. Like other conservatories, it has become a symbol of technological wonder that relies on the shimmering transparency of a glass shell to create a visual icon. These buildings have intriguing structures, but once inside often this architecture does little to contribute to an interior experience that is diverse and immersive. Now, this conservatory is not popular, only a few people enjoying plants inside. Therefore, we would like to design a new conservatory in Shanghai Botanical Garden to attract more people and offer a rich experience of enjoying plants.
Compared with normal conservatories, we create a new way for visitors to watch plants, offering people a chance of comparing different plant species in the same families. In this way, visitors could learn more information from plants in the conservatory and have a totally different experience.
